Officially opened at the Annual Di Bella Coffee Open Day on Saturday 31st July 2010, the Di Bella Coffee R & D Lab will serve as the base of the company’s quality assurance and trialing program: ensuring the quality and consistency of all coffee roasted at the Bowen Hills Roasting Warehouse, and experimenting with new coffee bean origins and brewing techniques.
The R & D Lab will be overseen by resident coffee specialist Daylan Isai. The R & D Lab will also serve as an interactive hub where visitors can see, taste, smell, experience and understand the multiple manners in which coffee can be extracted at one of Di Bella Coffee’s Coffee Education courses.
